Midland High Chemics make a mid-season playoff push!
Week 5- (W) The Chemics wins in overtime!
Despite Bay City Central firing out with a quick 14 point lead, the Midland High Chemics make the final move in OT to rob the 166th victory for Bay City Central's Head Coach Morley Fraser in his 32nd season, which would have made him the winning-est coach in school history. The winning touchdown was a 11-yard reception by Midland's Reid thrown by QB Methner. Another 200+ yard rushing debut for Chemic running back Martin Money also contributed to the huge week 5 victory. Bay City Central had the goal of finally beating both Midland Dow and Midland High in the same season, but will once again have to wait for another opportunity. As for now, Midland elevates their playoff hopes by improving their record to 4-1 on the year.

Week 4- (W) 34-14 over Mount Pleasant Oilers
After nudging out at slim victory last year verse the Oilers, this year's contest was not as suspenseful. The Midland High Chemics controlled the line of scrimmage, holding the Oilers to under 100 yards rushing while the running back for the Chemics Martin Money had 15 rushes for 221 yards by himself! This rivalry win puts the Chemics at 3-1 heading into their match up verse Bay City Central.
