Hot start to the season for the Chemics!

Midland High Chemics make a mid-season playoff push!

Week 5- (W) The Chemics wins in overtime!

Despite Bay City Central firing out with a quick 14 point lead, the Midland High Chemics make the final move in OT to rob the 166th victory for Bay City Central's Head Coach Morley Fraser in his 32nd season, which would have made him the winning-est coach in school history. The winning touchdown was a 11-yard reception by Midland's Reid thrown by QB Methner. Another 200+ yard rushing debut for Chemic running back Martin Money also contributed to the huge week 5 victory. Bay City Central had the goal of finally beating both Midland Dow and Midland High in the same season, but will once again have to wait for another opportunity. As for now, Midland elevates their playoff hopes by improving their record to 4-1 on the year.
